On Campus and Web Forums
Facilities Services hosts numerous public forums throughout the year, on projects such as the York University Landscape Plan. In the near future, Facilities Services will also begin a new mechanism for engaging you in its planning processes - through the web. On-line discussion forums, listservs and chat rooms are just a few of the ideas York University staff, students and faculty indicated as being good strategies for electronic engagement in a 2005 survey.
These tools will be implemented through this website in the coming year to allow you to see your suggestions come to life and establish a sense of continuity between public meetings. For community members unable to attend public forums, or charrettes, this will provide an opportunity for you to share your opinion too.
